No ready-made tour lands exactly on your dates, your interests and the way your group likes to travel. Here the itinerary starts from you: we draft a route with the driving times spelled out, you edit it as often as you need, and the private vehicle stays yours alone from the first mile to the last.

Departures

Pick-up in Tunis, across greater Tunis, at La Goulette or at the airport agreed with you. Departures also possible from Hammamet, Sousse, Monastir, Tozeur or Djerba, depending on where you land; timings are settled with you in the quote.

The route, day by day

A working plan rather than a fixed track: the order of the days is reworked with you before departure, and on the road wherever that is practical.

Your brief
You tell us who is travelling, how long you have, what pulls you — Roman ruins, desert, crafts, quiet beaches, food — and what you would rather avoid: long drives, crowds, the midday heat. A few lines are enough to start.
The draft route
We come back with a route that actually works: the order of the stops, the driving time between them, which sites earn the detour and which can go without regret. Tunisian distances mislead on a map, so we put them in writing.
The adjustments
You edit. An extra night in Tozeur, a free morning in Sidi Bou Said, a later start because the children sleep badly in the car, a stop removed because the pace feels too tight — everything still moves until the plan is settled.
The confirmed plan
Once the route is settled you receive the day-by-day outline, the pick-up and drop-off points and the matching quote. Each day's timing is agreed with you rather than imposed, and stays adaptable once you are on the road.

What travelling privately changes

The vehicle stays reserved for your group alone: nobody else on board, no round of hotel pick-ups.
The plan bends to real constraints: naps for small children, limited mobility, a rest day midway, an early return for a flight.

You can change your mind on the road: stay another hour in a medina, drop a site, add a stop you spotted from the car.

Tips and personal spending

Practical advice

Give us your dates, even roughly: summer heat in the south, Ramadan and museum closing days all change the ideal running order.
Be generous with driving days. One stop fewer and real time on the ground beats a packed schedule.
Tell us the practical constraints — pushchair, limited mobility, travel sickness, dietary needs. They are far easier to plan for in advance than en route.
If one place matters more than everything else, say so first: we build the route around it.
Whatever the final route, pack modest clothing for mosques and closed shoes for the ancient sites.

Your questions

How long does it take to put a bespoke trip together?

A first route proposal follows your message quickly. After that it depends on how much you want to refine: some travellers settle it in one exchange, others fine-tune over several weeks. The nearer your dates, the sooner it helps to write, especially in spring and autumn.

Can we combine several of your existing tours?

Yes, and it happens all the time: the green north on one side, the Sahara on the other, or a Cap Bon day grafted onto a Roman-sites route. We simply recalculate the driving times and the running order so the whole thing stays comfortable.

What if we know nothing about Tunisia yet?

Just tell us the kind of trip that sounds like you — heritage, landscape, desert, or simply slowing down — and how long you have. We send a full first route with the obvious highlights and the quieter alternatives, and you take it from there.
