The idea behind the day
The three stops span nearly three thousand years of history within about twenty kilometres. Carthage for Punic and Roman antiquity, Sidi Bou Said for eighteenth-century Andalusian architecture, the Tunis medina for the living Arab city. The suggested order follows the light: archaeological sites in the morning, the village at midday, the souks in the afternoon.
